Veggie Pride – Lyon/Milan/Prague 16 May 2009

The Veggie Pride demonstration will take place for the first time in Lyon on Saturday May 16. In this context, we invite you to discover and discuss the booklet “Reflections on the Veggie Pride” at the following event:

Saturday May 2, at 4 PM, at the Maison de l'Écologie, 4 rue Bodin, 69001 Lyon

Presentation of the Veggie Pride and of the themes of the booklet

Highlights of the encounter:

• The Veggie Pride: it's history and it's message.
• “Reflections on the Veggie Pride” as a collection of texts written by the French and Italian Veggie Pride organizers, that explains the message of the Veggie Pride and expands its central points, proposing a larger perspective concerning the importance of the Veggie Pride demonstration for the animal liberation movement.
• Discussion and debate.

To make the encounter more pleaseant, you can bring drink, vegan cakes and/or other goodies to share.

We will ask of each participant a 1€ contribution towards the cost of renting the room.
