We hope that you have been able to get organized to participate in the next Veggie Pride in Lyon, Milan or Prague! We remind you that if you wish to request or share lodging or transportation, you can use the classified ads forum to that effect.

1/ Veggie Pride posters being put up in Lyon this Tuesday

This Tuesday May 5, some vegetarians are getting together to put up Veggie Pride posters in several districts of Lyon. If you wish to lend a hand, contact us. The appointment is at 1PM at métro Sans Souci. We also invite you to announce the Veggie Pride in your own towns. Leaflets and posters can be downloaded on the Veggie Pride site, here.

2/ A meeting on the future of the Veggie Pride next May 17

The 2009 Veggie Pride organizers invite you to a meeting the morning after the Veggie Pride, to exchange impressions about this year's edition and to discuss the future of the Veggie Pride. The time and place will be indicated in a future newsletter.

3/ Call for volunteers for one of the “happenings”

As announced in an earlier newsletter, the demonstration will be different from other years. There will not be a happening at the end of the demonstration, but instead several happenings, or public readings of texts, during the demonstration itself. For one of these happenings in particular we are in search of some twenty volunteer. If you are interested, please contact us.

4/ The texts of the booklet “Réflexions sur la Veggie Pride” are online

A booklet containing a collection of texts written by organizers of the French and Italian Veggie Prides has just been published in French. It presents and develops the message of the Veggie Pride. These texts can be read online here.
